Alliance Membership

The Alliance approach

The Foundation itself is a lean, nonprofit organization with a mandate to bring together farming projects that need support with the people, agencies and funding that can provide that support. We invite interested people and organizations to become Alliance Members of the Foundation.

Alliance Membership is a legal status defined in the Foundation’s Bylaws. In return for a commitment of high standards of quality and ethics, our Alliance Members will help us achieve our collective mission while increasing their own profile and, where applicable, their profitability.

We are actively seeking Alliance Members in these roles:

• Caribbean (initially Jamaican) farms, farmers and co-ops seeking financial or other assistance

• Vendors of equipment, service providers and public-sector institutions committed to the success of the Foundation’s supported projects

Trust is a critical element of our activity, especially given our efforts in public and institutional fundraising. We expect Alliance Members to adhere to the Foundation’s Code of Ethical Practice. In return, The Foundation commits to transparency and accountability to its Members and the public at large.
