Our Mission, Goals and Objectives

Created in 2023 by farmers, experts and advocates with collectively more than a century of experience in agriculture and global development, we have a clear mission:

Agridiscovery Foundation seeks to increase Caribbean food security and social economic prosperity by expanding the region’s agri food sector.
We channel support and expertise to farmers to maximize their profitability and sustainability.

The statement is simple, but its execution is not. We are bringing together a diverse, global alliance of funders, suppliers and experts to focus on the region by:

• Actively collecting financial assistance for small Caribbean farms from grants, institutional donations and crowdfunding

• Assembling a trusted network of vendors and service providers, both Caribbean-local and Canadian, to support local farm growth while increasing trade

• Providing communications, education and marketing assistance to farm projects as required

• Connecting farms to expertise to help them maximize resilience and access to markets

• Working with the public and private sectors to identify or rehabilitate underused farmland
